What we believe

The decisions made before building determine the result.

Scope, approach, and team are chosen in the first weeks and largely fix what happens afterwards. Treating that as overhead is how projects become expensive.

Building starts easily and corrects slowly. A wrong assumption about scope or architecture is cheap to fix on paper and costly once it is embedded in a codebase and in a team’s habits.

We keep the consulting step proportionate to the decision, but we do not skip it — and the output is written down so it can be challenged rather than taken on trust.

What this means in practice

1

Written recommendations

With criteria and reasoning, so the decision survives scrutiny.

2

Options, not a single pitch

You see the alternatives we rejected, and why.

3

Proportionate effort

The analysis scales to the size of the decision.

What it means for you

A decision you can defend later

Fewer expensive reversals mid-build

A plan that exists outside one person’s head
